NRL Ladder looks similar in 2008

After the kick off of the NRL Rugby League premiership for 2008, the NRL table and ladder looks strikingly similar to last year. With several of the usual teams; including Melbourne Storm, Parramatta Eels and Brisbane Broncos all taking their positions in the Footy Top 8.
The NRL Results have however thrown up a few unique contenders. The Cronulla Sharks winning and getting on the board early and so did the hapless Newcastle Knights who struggled so much in 2007 with consistency and keeping players on the Rugby League field itself.

With the season of 2008 now under-way Rugby League fans around the country are glued to television sets to watch their football teams compete. Getting early season wins on the board is crucial to NRL Results as it takes the pressure of the club and the coach, making the late season results less important and thus being entered in the Top 8 finals series more possible.
Referee calls and of course the bounce of the ball on the field can certainly have effect on the results, as the competition overall has become the closest ever since the NRL have been in charge and the salary cap remaining in place.
Round 1 of the 2008 NRL series is set to be completed on Monday night when the current champions of last year the Melbourne Storm take on the NZ Warriors in an epic battle.
